Living Wills
Unlike a traditional will, which determines the distribution of assets, a living will is concerned with medical care and the important decisions that must be made if you are in a serious accident or otherwise become unable to make conscious decisions. A living will can specify your wishes for a course of action if, for example, you are determined to be in a permanent coma, and give instruction on medical means that should be used, and what should be avoided. Determining what course of action should be taken in the interest of your care is an important step for both your personal wishes, and the welfare of your loved ones who may otherwise be forced to make difficult emotional and financial decisions.
