Dealing with insurance companies

The first thing I tell people is that insurance companies are not there to help you. They will contact you… you will be frustrated… but they’re there to, number one is to think about their insured, and number two is not to spend any money if they can, and if they do, to pay you as little as possible. You need somebody to help you to understand what your rights are and to help you to maximize within the rules and within what’s fair what you can reasonably expect out of your case.
