Fathers have equal rights
Fathers have rights. They have equal rights, as mothers do, to children. They just have an uphill battle in many states and jurisdictions that basically are going to lean, a lot of times, towards the mother of being the primary caregiver. Particularly in the South a lot of jurisdictions are that way, they lean that way. The judges, their background, what they’ve seen and how they grew up, that’s what you have to look at when you’re looking at whatever jurisdiction that you’re going to be filing a case in. So those issues are separate, but you do need to look at those before you file a case.
